Rwanda National Team (Rwanda)

The Rwanda National Team, widely recognized as the "Amavubi" or "The Wasps," has been a growing force in African football since its formation. The team is governed by the Rwanda Football Federation, which has been focusing on nurturing local talent and improving the sport's infrastructure in the country.

Historically, one of the team's key achievements came in 2004 when Rwanda qualified for their first-ever Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), showcasing their potential on a continental scale. Though Rwanda has faced challenges in consistently qualifying for international tournaments, they can boast of their steady improvements in regional competitions, particularly in the CECAFA Cup.

Rwanda's style of play is marked by a strong defensive foundation and quick, counter-attacking movements. The team's resilience and agility often make them a tough opponent to break down. With a vision of becoming more competitive internationally, the Amavubi continue to strive for excellence, promoting young talents and implementing strategic developments in their game plan.
