Young midfielder from «Braga», Dani Rozzuvailo, a native of Portugal with Ukrainian roots, is close to obtaining a Ukrainian passport and joining the youth team.
The possibility of 18-year-old midfielder from club «Braga», Dani Rozzuvailo, joining the Ukrainian U-19 team is becoming more real. The young player was born in Portugal and holds citizenship there, but his parents are Ukrainian emigrants. The Ukrainian Football Association has launched a process to obtain Ukrainian citizenship for Rozzuvailo. This may take up to six months.
National youth team coach Dmytro Mykhaylenko personally shows interest in this player. Successful completion of the naturalization process could allow Rozzuvailo to debut in the spring of 2025, provided the Ukrainian national team qualifies for the elite round of the Euro 2025 qualifiers.
Previously, Rozzuvailo was called up to the Portuguese U-15 national team, but did not step onto the field. Currently, he plays for the junior team of «Braga» and has already participated in matches of the UEFA Youth League.
