Real Madrid defender Eder Militao sustained a severe injury in the 13th round of the Spanish Championship, where his team triumphed over Osasuna with a 4-0 result.

The Brazilian player was forced to leave the field at the 30th minute. Club representatives announced that the 26-year-old defender has been diagnosed with a complete anterior cruciate ligament rupture and damage to both menisci of his right leg. Headed for surgery, the athlete will be unable to return to the field this season.

Before this injury, Militao managed to participate in 12 matches of the current La Liga season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
