Alexander Mostovoy explains why «Dynamo» coach Marcele Lichka's emotions should not be criticized.
Former «Spartak» player Alexander Mostovoy commented on the situation regarding «Dynamo» head coach Marcele Lichka's emotional statements at the press conference following the match against «Rostov». The expert noted that there is no need to sanction the coach.
The 14th round match of the MIR RPL tournament between «Dynamo» and «Rostov» ended in a 1:1 draw in Moscow. After the game, Lichka used an expletive to describe his team's performance in the second half.
— Should Lichka be punished for such emotions? — asked the journalist.
— Certainly not, this is part of our nature. We are all human, and in this situation, it is sincere, especially considering the team did not win. Imagine how upset «Rostov» is, which hasn't won in the tournament since the beginning of September, — Mostovoy noted in the conversation.
— What about the fact that children might have heard it? — some argued.
— This can always be discussed, but emotions are everywhere. Some can control themselves, and others cannot. This is indispensable in our game, — added the former player.
Currently, «Dynamo» is in fourth place in the national championship with 27 points, while «Rostov», having gained 14 points, shares the eighth place. Rostov's winless streak continues for seven matches.
