The former "Ukraine" goalkeeper, Yuri Virt, expressed his opinion on the results of the 2026 World Cup qualifying draw, commenting on them as favorable for his team.
Virt believes that "Azerbaijan" and "Iceland" are opponents against which his national team can effectively compete, while expressing respect for all teams involved. He also noted that "France" or "Croatia" could be other adversaries, each deserving recognition for their skills.
According to Virt, he is hopeful for 2025, when "Ukraine" will have the opportunity to play against "Azerbaijan" in a home match scheduled for September 9th.
