Ukrainian clubs have worsened their positions in the European competitions, leading Ukraine to fall to the 23rd place in the UEFA rankings.

The disappointing performances of "Ukrainian clubs" in European tournaments have led to significant consequences. Ukraine has fallen to the 23rd spot in the UEFA coefficients table, conceding positions to "Cyprus" and "Sweden".

It's worth noting these current results impact the allocation of slots for countries in the 2026-27 European season. It is already confirmed that Ukraine will be represented by four teams: one in the "Champions League", one in the "Europa League", and two in the "Conference League".

Moreover, being in the 23rd place in the UEFA ranking could mean that the Ukrainian champion starts the "Champions League" from the very first qualifying round.
