After the 17th round of UPL, some Ukrainian clubs will take a winter break, except "Shakhtar", preparing for European Cup matches in January during training in Turkey.
Having completed the matches of the 17th round of the UPL, Ukrainian teams will head into the winter holidays. However, not all — "Shakhtar" will continue their participation in January. The "miners"' European Cup commitments go on.
As per tradition of recent years, "Shakhtar" will conduct their training camp in Turkey. One of their announced opponents is the Norwegian "HamKam", currently holding the third spot in the local championship, who has declared a friendly match with "Shakhtar". The game is set for February 8 at Mardan stadium.
In their remaining UPL match, "Shakhtar" will face "Polesie" away on December 15. Kick-off is at 18:00.
Additionally, in January 2025, "Shakhtar" is scheduled to play two matches in the Champions League, which is being held in a new format this season.
