The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee convened in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday, December 16, 2024, led by President Dr. "Patrice Motsepe", to finalize the competition schedule for the 2025 season. This announcement clarifies key dates for "Nigeria" squads including the "Super Eagles", "Flying Eagles", and clubs participating in continental tournaments.

CAF announced that the eagerly awaited final draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will take place on January 27, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco. The championship will kick off on December 21, 2025, with the final slated for January 18, 2026. Host nation "Morocco", renowned for its growing impact in both African and global arenas, previously hosted AFCON in 1988, where the "Super Eagles" narrowly lost to Cameroon 1-0 in a disputed final.

For the "Flying Eagles" of "Nigeria", recent victors of the WAFU B U20 Championship, their journey in the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d'Ivoire commences on April 26, 2025, and concludes on May 18, 2025. Meanwhile, the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, also hosted by "Morocco", will be held from March 30 to April 19, 2025.

CAF confirmed the dates for interclub competitions, eagerly anticipated by "Nigeria" clubs. The CAF Champions League final will be contested over two legs on May 24 and June 1, 2025, while the CAF Confederation Cup final is scheduled for May 17 and May 25, 2025.
