This winter, Marseille aims to strengthen its squad by acquiring Mykhailo Mudryk from Chelsea, replacing the injured Valentin Carboni.

According to recent reports, Marseille intends to reinforce its lineup in the upcoming winter transfer window by signing the skilled Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk on a temporary basis. The Ukrainian player is set to fill in for Valentin Carboni, who has prematurely ended his loan from Inter due to a severe injury, halting his participation in the 2024/25 season competitions.

It is noteworthy that Marseille has been under the guidance of Italian manager Roberto De Zerbi since the summer of 2024, who is well-acquainted with Mudryk's abilities from their collaborative efforts at Shakhtar during the 2021/22 campaign.

Currently, after seven rounds, Marseille stands third in the Ligue 1 standings, while Mykhailo Mudryk has appeared for Chelsea in eight matches across all competitions this season, securing three assists.
