Olga Smorodskaya, who previously owned «Lokomotiv», shared her views on Mikhail Galaktionov's performance as the coach of the capital's team. She admitted that she was not a fan of his methods in the past, but now sees him as an outstanding professional, as it is clear he is aiming for high achievements.
Smorodskaya also mentioned that she is not aware of all the internal nuances of the team. “I am not in the habit of making hasty decisions. I usually weigh each one carefully. There were moments when I was criticized for frequent changes in coaching staff. However, the current trend of changing three coaches in a season is not something I align with,” she added.
Currently, under Mikhail Galaktionov's leadership, «Lokomotiv» has earned 27 points and holds the second position in the Russian championship standings.
