Prominent domestic analyst Dmitriy Khomukha shared his thoughts on the future prospects of 'Zenit' forward Alexander Sobolev.
According to the specialist, he is not convinced that the Russian player can outperform competitors like Cassierra and Luciano for a place in the squad. The expert also highlighted that this event is unlikely to occur before the winter break.
"Before the winter break for sure. Alexander needs to develop his skills in all areas of the game," Khomukha noted.
It's worth mentioning that Sobolev has so far scored only one goal and delivered one assist in six official matches for 'Zenit'. The forward's transfer happened in the summer from 'Spartak'.
