One of the detainees after

One of the detainees after the attack on «Leningradets» coaches confessed and shared details of the incident.

One of the individuals involved in the attack on the coaching staff of «Leningradets» in Astrakhan admitted his guilt and described the events of that evening. It turned out that the main coach of the team, Vadim Yevseyev, his assistant Alexander Shmarko, and the deputy general director of the team were attacked by two men. One of the attackers used a pepper spray, which he sprayed into Yevseyev's face. When Shmarko attempted to detain the assailants, one of them brandished a knife.

— We were walking along Admiralteyskaya Street with a friend, asked some people for a light, they refused, and a conflict arose. I used the spray, my friend pulled out a knife. A fight broke out. I'm sorry it happened, and I recognize my guilt. This will not happen again, — reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Astrakhan region with the words of one of the detainees.

— Detained for fighting. We had been drinking and went for a walk. I had already been detained for fraud before, — added the second detainee.

On Monday, club's sporting director Denis Gagarin informed the media that the injured employees of «Leningradets» left the hospital and are preparing to return to Saint Petersburg.

On November 17, «Leningradets» played to a 1:1 draw away against «Volgar» in a Second League match.
