Inter Miami forward and Argentina national team captain Lionel Messi will not be attending the special gala evening hosted by Barcelona on November 29th for their 125th anniversary. The event is expected to draw many famous personalities, including past and present stars from various sections of the club.
However, Messi's attendance is not feasible due to his existing contract obligations with other projects that prevent him from being part of the event. The club noted that all significant players received invitations, and Messi was notified about his 15 days ago. Despite this, his participation at the event in other formats is not excluded, although details have yet to be clarified.
Lionel Messi dedicated his finest years to Barcelona from 2003 to 2021, after which he played two seasons for Paris Saint-Germain. In recent years, he has been a part of Inter Miami.
