Future of Artem Dzyuba in Russia's National Team

Valeriy Karpin explained why Artem

Valeriy Karpin explained why Artem Dzyuba may not join Russia's national team in the coming years, in line with the team's age policy.

The coach of Russia's national team, Valeriy Karpin, expressed his opinion about the possible call-up of Artem Dzyuba from Togliatti's 'Akron' to the national team in 2025.

The coach emphasized the previous decision not to invite aging players to the team, as it would be challenging to rely on them in the long run, especially when the team is set to return to international competitions.

Karpin noted that Dzyuba's potential achievement of becoming the highest-scoring player in the team's history is not considered a significant event by him, saying it 'is not worth a bean'.

Currently, both Artem Dzyuba and Alexander Kerzhakov have scored 30 goals for the Russian national team.
