Dynamo Kyiv prepares for match against Viktoria Plzeň in the Europa League

The coach of "Dynamo Kyiv" assessed the rival before the match with "Viktoria" in the tournament.

On the eve of the face-off with "Viktoria" from Plzeň in the Europa League, the head coach of "Dynamo Kyiv" Oleksandr Shovkovskiy paid tribute to the opponent who can pose numerous challenges.

"The achievements of "Viktoria Plzeň" speak for themselves. They consistently play in European cups and compete for top places in the Czech championship, having not lost a single match this season — both in qualifications and in the main stage of the Europa League. This testifies to their stability and aggressive style of play. In short, this is a tough opponent, which many teams in the Europa League have felt," noted Shovkovskiy at the pre-match press conference.

According to him, "Dynamo Kyiv" is in good shape for preparing for the match despite losses: "We have the same players injured who recently couldn't help the team — Shepelev, Pikhalionok, Yarmolenko, Ceballos. They were joined by Andrievsky, who got sick, and, as you know, Dubinchak is suspended."
