David Okereke made history by scoring against three different teams managed by Jose Mourinho. A unique milestone in his career.

"Fenerbahce" manager Jose Mourinho showered praises on Nigerian striker David Okereke for reaching a remarkable milestone. The gifted forward sealed his place in history by becoming the first player to score against three separate clubs under Mourinho's management.

This remarkable feat was achieved during "Fenerbahçe's" 3-1 victory over "Gaziantep" at the "Ülker Stadium Şükrü Saracoğlu" on Monday, where the 27-year-old struck a consolation goal for the visitors.

The Portuguese tactician expressed admiration for Okereke's unique feat, which made headlines following the match. “He is the first player to have scored against all my three teams: "Venezia", "Cremonese", and "Gaziantep FK," stated Mourinho, acknowledging Okereke’s consistency and skill across different leagues.

Okereke's career saw him play for multiple clubs in Italy and Belgium, including a significant tenure with "Club Brugge". In July 2022, he penned a three-year deal with "Cremonese" for a reported fee of €10 million. Still contracted to "Cremonese", he was loaned to "Torino" and is currently on another loan with the Turkish side "Gaziantep".

For the ongoing season, Okereke has made eight appearances for the Turkish side, starting in six of them. He has netted three goals, provided one assist, and averages 73 minutes of playtime per game. A former Nigeria U23 international, Okereke was called up by Nigeria's manager Gernot Rohr to train with the "Super Eagles" ahead of an international friendly against Egypt in March 2019. However, despite being included in the squad, he remained an unused substitute for the match.
