"Fiorentina" player Edoardo Bove has successfully had a defibrillator implanted after a recent on-field incident but will not be able to compete due to medical regulations.

For the team "Fiorentina", 22-year-old midfielder Edoardo Bove underwent surgery to have a defibrillator implanted. This medical device prevents cardiac arrest.

After the procedure, there is no longer a threat to his health. However, under Italian medical and cardiology regulations, players with implanted defibrillators cannot compete in matches.

Edoardo Bove will be discharged from the hospital on Saturday.

It's worth noting that the player was admitted to the intensive care unit after collapsing during the "Inter" match in the XIV round of Serie A.
