Victory for "Napoli" in a Dramatic Match against "Atalanta"

"Napoli" widened their lead in the standings after a victory over "Atalanta" in an away game.

In the 21st round of Italy's Serie A, "Napoli" faced "Atalanta" in an away match. In 90 minutes, both teams scored five goals. The match took place in Bergamo at "Atalanta's" field and concluded with a victory for the Neapolitan guests with a score of 3:2.

In the 16th minute, the hosts took the lead thanks to a goal by Mateo Retegui, but "Napoli" not only equalized but also took the lead before halftime with goals from Matteo Politano and Scott McTominay.

The second half saw the score leveled again in the 55th minute after a strike by Ademola Lookman. However, in the 78th minute, a precise shot by Romelu Lukaku secured the victory for the guests.

As a result, "Napoli" reinforced their lead in the standings with 50 points. Meanwhile, "Inter", six points behind, has two games in hand, while "Atalanta" rounds out the top-3 with 43 points.

This match marked the first for "Napoli" after the official announcement of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's transfer to PSG.
