Paul Pogba dismissed rumors regarding a potential move to Russian clubs following the reduction of his suspension term.

French midfielder Paul Pogba has stated that moving to Russian championships is not in his plans. Recently, it emerged that a doping test he undertook revealed elevated testosterone levels. Subsequently, the test «B» also confirmed the same results.

In February 2024, Pogba received a four-year match ban. However, in October, the Arbitration Court partially upheld his appeal, reducing the suspension to 18 months, and waived the penalties. He will now be eligible to return to the pitch by March 2025.

— I feel much better now. I've had time to focus on recovery. My physical form is always closely tied to my mental state. It hasn't been easy to recuperate from everything that's happened. Of course, there are offers, but as you know, I prefer to consider only truly interesting opportunities. For instance, moving to Russia is not my objective at the moment.

Currently, Pogba holds the status of a free agent.
