Inability of «Polissya» to dominate lower tier teams becomes alarming trend

«Polissya» once again misses victory against a bottom-tier club, this time with «Kolos».

In its second consecutive game, «Polissya» fails to secure a win against a team in the lower standings. While the neutral outcome with «Left Bank» might be an accident, the current situation suggests a persistent trend.

This time, «Kolos» fully deserved the draw, and nobody would have been surprised if they had clinched a victory. The first half was dominated by the team from Kovalivka. With a well-organized attack, they found promising opportunities for strategic attacks, one of which led to success. Following a corner in the center of the penalty area, a forgotten Veletin calmly delivered the ball into the net.

This season has been dotted with instances where «Polissya» comes to life after the break, and this occasion was no exception. Eventually, the hosts managed to level the score. Nazarenko, maneuvering through the left wing, left his opponent behind with a single move and made an accurate cross—where Gutsulyak was already waiting to score.
