Discover the shocking events related to the attack on Vadim Evseev and his colleagues in Astrakhan, apprehended thanks to the persistence of 'Leningradets' staff.

New details have emerged about the shocking attack on former Russian national team player Vadim Evseev in Astrakhan. Telegram channel reports indicate that, in addition to Vadim, two 'Leningradets' employees were among the victims: assistant Alexander Shmarko and the club's deputy director.

While the coaching staff and management were returning from a restaurant to their hotel, they were approached by two individuals requesting a cigarette from Evseev. Receiving no response, they used a pepper spray.

According to 'Leningradets' press secretary Georgy Nachkepiya, Shmarko and another employee attempted to apprehend the attackers, but the latter drew knives. As a result, Shmarko was slashed across the face. Fortunately, the injury was superficial.

The assailants were detained due to the swift actions of the club's team, after which they were handed over to the police.
