The head coach of the "Akron" club from Tolyatti, Zaur Tedev, discussed with journalists the Russian national team's performance in recent friendly matches against "Brunei" and "Syria".
Tedev expressed his thoughts on the Russian team, emphasizing his deep respect for the coaching staff and the players. "Of course, I would like to see the team facing more serious opponents, but these are the current conditions," he noted.
Tedev particularly highlighted the match against "Syria", calling it interesting. As for the game with "Brunei", the specialist found it challenging to provide an objective assessment, stressing that it's not the level of opponent to derive satisfaction from.
The Russian national team confidently defeated "Syria" 4:0 and overwhelmed "Brunei" by scoring 11 unanswered goals.
