Ex-Spartak defender Andrey Yeshchenko praised the Russian national team for their successful performances against Syria and Brunei.

Former defender of the Moscow club Spartak, Andrey Yeshchenko, shared his thoughts on the latest performances of the Russian national team in an interview with the press.

Yeshchenko noted that in the recent matches, the Russian national team achieved the results that were expected from them. The ex-footballer emphasized the general satisfaction due to their victory.

"I don’t have time to watch the national team's games, but people are attending, and that's great. How was the year 2024 for the team? It's wonderful that opponents were found," said Yeshchenko.
