In the final added moments of the encounter with Czech "Viktoria Plzen", Kabaev executed a spectacular long-range shot, after which the ball found its way into the far corner.

Unfortunately, the performance of the team led by Alexandr Shovkovskyi in European competitions still raises concerns. The current European cup season for "Dynamo" began back in the summer, and the team is already weary from endless travels. Additionally, in the Ukrainian Premier League, there is a looming prospect of winning the championship, which would be the fourth in the last 15 years. After five unsuccessful outcomes in the Europa League, fighting on two fronts is impractical: visits to "Real Sociedad" and "Galatasaray" are unlikely to open new horizons.

"Viktoria", which had previously been an insurmountable obstacle for Ukrainian clubs (for example, in qualifying matches with "Kryvbas"), this time succeeded due to more effective use of their chances. They were few - the game, played at a moderate pace, does not inspire a desire to rewatch it. However, in the 55th minute, Vidra struck the bottom corner from outside the penalty area, and this goal determined the course of events.

Undoubtedly, it could be noted that everything could have gone differently - two minutes earlier, Vivcharenko had the opportunity to score "Dynamo's" first goal in the current Europa League edition. But the VAR system rightfully flagged an offside position.

The conceded goal forced "Dynamo" to spend more time on positional attacks. However, true leaders, capable of leading the team forward, were not found within its ranks. In the 90th minute, Schultz strengthened "Viktoria's" advantage, further complicating the Ukrainian vice-champion's task. Thereafter, in the last attack, Kabaev executed a miraculous shot.

The result - 1:2, the fifth consecutive loss and last place in the Europa League table. Overall - hopeless.
