Ruben Amorim: Feeling at Home with "Manchester United" Fans is "Special"

Ruben Amorim praised the support

Ruben Amorim praised the support of "Manchester United" fans following his first win over "Bodo/Glimt" in the Europa League.

Ruben Amorim expressed how "Manchester United" fans made him feel at home, calling it "special." Amorim secured his first victory as the "United" manager on Thursday night, defeating the Norwegian club "Bodo/Glimt" 3-2 at "Old Trafford."

The win followed the Portuguese's debut against "Ipswich Town" in the Premier League. The "Red Devils" started both games similarly: Marcus Rashford scored in the second minute, quickly putting the team ahead.

Alejandro Garnacho capitalized on a glaring mistake by opposition goalkeeper Nikita Haikin, who succumbed under pressure from man of the match Rasmus Hojlund. Hojlund earned credit for the assist and scored a vital brace, securing "Manchester United" an important Europa League victory.

The visitors took a surprising 2-1 lead in the first half, but the Dane scored a crucial equalizer just before halftime and secured the win five minutes into the second half.

Hojlund commented that Amorim's 3-4-3 system is ideal for him. Asked if it was a good game, he replied, "Yes and no. It started off poorly, but we showed character and recovered. The main thing is the three points, isn't it?" He added, "It will obviously take time, but we can already see some patterns. Now it's time to build. This system reminds me of playing 3-4-3 at 'Atalanta.' It suits me."
