Napoli's Talks on Rashford Move to Manchester United

Marcus Rashford from Manchester United

Napoli's negotiations with Manchester United on Rashford have sparked interest in Kvaratskhelia.

Negotiations by "Napoli" regarding a prospective switch of "Manchester United" forward Marcus Rashford prompted interest from "Red Devils" in Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, as per reports.

"Red Devils" manager decided to leave Rashford out of their 2-1 victory over major rivals "Manchester City" in the derby in mid-December, while Alejandro Garnacho also missed that game.

Later, Rashford was kept out of two more matches with Ruben Amorim pointing to 'selection' as the reason for his absence in clashes against "Tottenham" in the Carabao Cup and "Bournemouth" in the Premier League.

After being omitted from the match against "Man City", Rashford told journalist Henry Winter that he is ready for 'a new challenge' away from "Old Trafford". Coach Amorim assured just before Christmas that he will disregard the interview and judge Rashford solely on his performances.

Amorim said: 'It's a difficult situation. I realize that these players have a lot of people around them, making decisions that are not the initial thoughts of the player. I'm always here to help Marcus as just another player. I have to do what I must.'

Several clubs are reportedly interested in Rashford with the January transfer window now open, and "Manchester United" is keen to generate funds for potential signings.

Our sources claim that discussions between "Manchester United" and "Napoli" initially centered around Marcus Rashford and included inquiries about the Georgian winger, who is on "United's" shortlist as a viable replacement.

Rumors suggest that the "Napoli" winger is 'open' to a move in the summer if he can't secure a renewed deal at "Serie A" side, although "Manchester United" is still monitoring the winger, a purchase might not be relevant post-June – considering the emerging necessity for reinforcements now in January.
