During an interaction with journalists, Amorim pointed out that if he negatively comments on the chances of the "Red Devils" to break into the top four, he will be criticized for lacking ambition in managing "Manchester United". He emphasized that he prefers to be honest with the club's supporters.

"Let's focus on the matches and results, and time will tell what comes of it. I've said it before and will say it again – I will be judged by where the team finishes this season," Amorim noted.
