We face challenges when playing against teams like "Switzerland". This was stated by the head coach of Azerbaijan's women's national team under-19, Habib Agayev, when evaluating his team's performance in the European Championship qualifying stage. In the match against "Switzerland," we lost 0:8, highlighting the disparity in strength. "In the first match, the opponent was extremely strong. We knew that "Switzerland" was competing for first place. Currently, it's difficult for us to compete against such teams. We did our best. We were 0:2 behind in the first half, and in the second half, we ran out of strength," the coach noted.

In the second game, we faced "Estonia". Even though they are weaker than "Switzerland", they were stronger than us. In their first match, they defeated "Cyprus" 3:0. In the third contest, we had nothing to lose. I told the girls to just go out and play. Despite our attempts to play open football, we lost," narrated H.Agayev.

The head coach also attributed the team's insufficient preparedness to challenging player selections and the lack of the start of national championships: "In short, at the moment, our capabilities are limited. The lack of choice causes difficulties. Another factor is that the championship in our country has not yet begun. In other countries, the first round is already over, and we haven't even started. The girls were not sufficiently prepared, and under such conditions, it's incredibly difficult to participate in tournaments of this level," he emphasized.

It should be noted that in the qualifying round of Group B in League B "Switzerland" defeated us 0:8, and "Estonia" and "Cyprus" 0:3.
