The well-known Russian manager Timur Lepsaya expressed his opinion on the performance of Kazakhstan defender Nurali Alip, who plays for "Zenit" from Saint Petersburg. During the discussion on the outcomes of the 17th round of the Russian Premier League season 2024/25, where "Zenit" lost to "Krylya Sovetov" with a score of 2:3, Lepsaya noted that Alip's mistakes in defense were one of the reasons behind Sergey Semak's team's defeat.
