"Manchester United" coach Ruben Amorim noted that newcomer Leny Yoro might be part of the squad against "Arsenal".

"Manchester United" head coach Ruben Amorim mentioned that summer addition Leny Yoro "might be part of the squad" facing "Arsenal" in the English Premier League on Wednesday. Yoro is yet to make his official debut for "Manchester United" after sustaining a metatarsal injury during a pre-season match against "Arsenal". He might make his competitive appearance on Wednesday evening against the same rival. Indeed, Amorim confirmed that Yoro "might be included in the squad". He also noted that players' fitness will be evaluated in Tuesday's training session.

"He (Yoro) is a special talent," Amorim said to reporters on Monday. "We must be cautious in the beginning. We haven't had many training sessions together as he has been working in a small group. He's really fast, a modern defender, which is excellent for high pressing. He can handle one-on-one situations with forwards and is good on the ball, so I am eagerly awaiting his play."

Another defender who has consistently played since joining "Manchester United" in summer is Noussair Mazraoui, who moved from "Bayern Munich" alongside Matthijs de Ligt and has impressed during his initial months at "Old Trafford". "In matches, he's a top player," said Amorim about the Moroccan. "He understands games, knows how to attack, is very technical, very good defensively, and in one-on-one situations. He's a modern player – the future of our team. We need more players like him who can control the game, are comfortable with the ball, and understand the gameplay."

Amorim also confirmed that captain Bruno Fernandes will participate despite having ice on his ankle after being substituted in Sunday's 4-0 victory over "Everton". Facing the "Gunners" will be his "biggest" challenge since becoming head coach replacing Erik ten Hag, according to Amorim. "It's important to show courage against strong teams," he emphasized. "Not continuously pressing high, we must understand the game and its phases. We need to hold possession – we want to dominate certain moments of the game because it's hard to control the entire game in these matches. We need to be courageous and play our own game."

Finally, Amorim mentioned feeling "a bit embarrassed" by the crowd's chants about him, "because I am the coach. They should chant for the players and the club". "It's not a good thing for me," he added. "I appreciate the connection with the fans, but I want them to support the players as they are on the pitch. But I am honored; I feel the connection with the supporters but need results to maintain it."
