Midfielder of "Akron" Togliatti Arseniy Dmitriev expressed his opinion on the frequent comparisons with "Barcelona" forward Lamine Yamal. The 17-year-old Dmitriev managed to participate in seven matches for "Akron" this season, scoring one goal.
— Such associations do not tire me. Perhaps we are close in position and age, but our styles on the field differ. I started following Yamal about a year ago when he became famous. Our 2007 team went to Spain a couple of years ago and lost 0:5 or 1:5. Yamal played for their team then. I discussed this with the guys in our team, and they noted his high level. But no event was possible to view back then, whereas now Lamine shows results in the Spanish national team, — shared Dmitriev.
