New Sporting Director for "Spartak": Former Midfielder's Opinion

Egor Titov former "Spartak" player

Egor Titov, former "Spartak" player, shares his thoughts on a suitable candidate for the role of sporting director.

Egor Titov, once a midfielder for the Moscow club "Spartak", spoke with journalists about which Russian specialists could become the new sporting director of the "red-whites".

In conversation, Titov conveyed that the appointment of a foreign national to this position could greatly enhance the team's success in the European market. Of all potential Russian experts, Igor Korneev was the first to come to his mind. "This is a person with a European mindset. Yes, he played for the club "CSKA", but was raised by "Spartak". He has an extensive network of contacts in Europe. He is a respected individual, and I would bet on him," Titov emphasized.

Currently, the team "Spartak" under the guidance of Serbian trainer Dejan Stankovic holds the third position in the Russian national championship.
