"Karpaty" celebrated a resounding victory over "Veres", scoring five goals.

"Karpaty" achieved their most impressive victory this season by netting five unanswered goals against "Veres" in the 16th round – 5:0!

The team from Lviv seized the initiative early and opened the score in the third minute. Bruninho received the ball on the left flank and crossed to the near post, where Neves deftly redirected it to Chachua. Only fifteen minutes later, Podlepynets finished Mirosnichenko's cross from the left flank, doubling "Karpaty's" advantage.

"Veres" began to regain composure and attempted to convert their attacks into shots. However, the situation worsened when Yago Siqueira received two yellow cards within two minutes and was dismissed, leaving "Veres" shorthanded. Under such circumstances, a positive result seemed unlikely. Furthermore, after the break, the team from Lviv turned the match into a rout. Early in the second half, Chachua scored a double, completing a cross from Mirosnichenko. In the 66th minute, the ball found "Veres's" net for the fourth time as Bruninho finished off after a shot from Zanetti rebounded off the visitors' goalkeeper.

Neves had a chance to score but missed a penalty in the 74th minute. However, the fifth goal did ensue. In stoppage time, Ustimenko headed the ball home from a corner. Celebrating his success, he revealed a tattoo of a lion's head covering his back.

"Karpaty" ended "Veres's" 10-match unbeaten streak and caught up with "Polissya" in the UPL standings.
