After a successful championship season

After a successful championship season, Andrey Ulshin explains his departure from "Kairat" and seeks new career opportunities.

Andrey Ulshin became one of the few Kazakhstani players to decide to leave "Kairat" after a triumphant season. In an interview, the midfielder openly discussed his reasons for leaving and expressed his gratitude to Alexander Kerzhakov, who provided significant support in his career.

"I have always dreamed of being a champion," Ulshin admits. "Our team comprised players who were confident of success from the start of the season. A significant role in this was played by Alexander Anatolyevich Kerzhakov, who entrusted me with a place in the main squad, and I am glad I justified his trust."

When asked if he believed in winning the championship in the final stages, Andrey replied that "the team never doubted and continued to believe in its strength."

Ulshin also shared his emotions about the first call to the national team, noting it as his long-held dream, which he hopes to bring to fruition.

Speaking on the decision to leave "Kairat," he emphasized that "the lack of opportunities to play under previous coaches prompted the search for another club where there will be chances to develop."

Asked about agreements with other clubs and possible moves to the international league, Andrey noted that "negotiations are underway, and time will tell the further course of events." In the past season, he recorded 19 matches, 4 goals, and 3 assists, helping "Kairat" become Kazakhstani champions for the fourth time in history.
