Ruben Amorim Sets Strict Rules at "Manchester United" to Achieve Ambitious Goal

Ruben Amorim, the new head of "Manchester United", has introduced a third restriction as he aims to implement his "mad dogs" concept at "Old Trafford". Rasmus Hojlund's brace on Thursday secured the team's third win under his management, adding to two losses and a draw which showcase a mixed start for Erik ten Hag's successor. Rumors abound regarding the future of senior players, especially with the January transfer window approaching, where Amorim's first acquisition is nearly finalized. However, further additions depend on sales to prevent the club from breaching profit and sustainability regulations.

Amorim primarily focuses on utilizing existing resources, enforcing a series of non-negotiable rules to enhance "United's" dynamics. The first significant change was banning his coaches from delivering complicated instructions to players. In his view, any tactic or idea should be conveyed in a single sentence. Reports suggest players have embraced these transformations, praising the clarity of messages as the team transitioned to a 3-4-3 formation, unfamiliar to many.

He swiftly implemented a ban on players taking vacations during the season after media criticism of Marcus Rashford and Casemiro for their trip to the US during the international break. "Red Devils" legend Gary Neville was critical, and Amorim offered his perspective: “Would I set a different structure? Yes, definitely. But we can't blame the players as they were given five days off and allowed to travel since nobody in the club said they can't. So, we can't blame Rash or Case."

Amorim added: "We as a club need to set the standards and manage them. It’s my call whether to give them five days, three days, or three days off with no travel. That's something for us as a club to decide, with me taking responsibility in that area."

Now, ahead of the Manchester Derby on Sunday, reports say Amorim has introduced a third strict rule: banning food in the dressing room. This reflects a focus on maintaining peak physical conditions for players to "run like mad dogs" and compete with the best in the Premier League. He asserted: "You can field the best players in the world, but without energy, they won’t win either. We have to run like mad dogs, or we won’t win."
