Pep Guardiola, "Man City" head coach, faces challenges this season and considers a move to Spain.

"Man City" head coach Pep Guardiola has a proposal to move to Spain as he faces a 'critical moment' at the Premier League champs, according to reports. "City" fell 2-0 to Juventus on Wednesday night, extending a dreadful series of results with the team in danger of enduring an unforgettable season. The defeat in Turin marks just one win in their last ten games across all competitions, a surprising and unprecedented run for a Guardiola-led side.

The "Man City" boss is an absolute icon at "Etihad Stadium" having secured six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, a Champions League, a FIFA Club World Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup during his eight-year tenure. Many experts tipped "Man City" for the Premier League title once more this season, but they now sit fourth in the table, eight points behind leaders "Liverpool", who have a game in hand against Guardiola’s side. There is very little chance that Guardiola might be sacked, but he spoke about the possibility earlier this week in an interview with former "Brescia" teammate Luca Toni.

Guardiola stated: “Will "Man City" send me home? If so, I go home. What else can you do in life? Life doesn’t always proceed as one wishes.” When asked about the cuts on his head during a recent match, the "Man City" manager added: “Yes, I did them with my nose. I am someone who gets nervous at times. I have tough days, I mess up a lot, and rudeness upsets me. Do I lose my mind occasionally? Yes. “I sleep badly, and I don’t digest food well. I always have to eat light. Only soup in the evening. But I am the same coach I was five months ago. The one who clinched the title, and I don’t battle my state of mind. If my mood is bad, then it's bad. But I know it's temporary. The same is true when I am elated. I know it will pass. “I firmly believe that this year will present great challenges. We need consistency. But if we come through it, it won’t be easy for anyone to face us.”

Reports in Spain now claim he has an 'offer to return to Spain' and 'it is not ruled out that he will end up saying goodbye at the end of the season, or even before, if he cannot find a solution and get back on track'. Guardiola has been presented 'the chance for a quiet role' by his brother, Pere Guardiola, who is the president of "La Liga" club "Girona", who played "Liverpool" in the Champions League on Tuesday night. His brother 'could assist in his relocation there' and Guardiola 'could find himself at "Montilivi" working alongside his brother, as the technical secretary, supporting sports director Quique Cárcel'. The report in Spain adds that Guardiola is 'not ruling anything out at the moment' and has previously confessed that he 'does not want to spend his entire life as a coach'.
