Dmitry Zelenov, head of "Spartak's" press service, reported that the club compensated "Rostov" for the damage cost caused by Dejan Stankovic, the head coach of the Moscow team. The incident occurred during the return match of the RPL Cup of Russia quarterfinals, where "Spartak" lost its position to "Rostov" with a scoreline of 1:2.

Throughout the second half of the game, Stankovic, driven by emotions, struck the side panel of the substitutes' bench, leading to its destruction. After the match concluded, the Serbian coach apologized and expressed his readiness to cover the damage incurred.

In response to the progress of the promised reimbursement, Zelenov confirmed: "Yes, the compensation for 'Stankovic's glass' has already been transferred to 'Rostov'."
