Kenya Clinches the Bronze in CAF U-17 Tournament

An exciting climax to the CAF U-17 Girls Tournament in Dar es Salaam, as Kenya clinches third place with a 2-0 victory.

"Kenya Academy of Sport" finished the tournament triumphantly in third place at the ongoing CAF U-17 Girls Tournament in Dar es Salaam. A convincing 2-0 win over "Boni Consilli Girls" ensured the Kenyans secured a podium finish at this inaugural tournament uniquely designed by CAF to foster women's teams development in Africa.

Despite a sturdy contest from "Boni Consilli Girls", they failed to capitalize on their chances, allowing "KAS" to clinch the victory and bronze medals with their clinical front-line play.

Friday's third-place playoff at the Azam Complex was not the only match of the day. Preceding it was an intriguing fifth-place match between "Kenya Elite Junior Academy" and "Aigle Noir FC", in which "Kenya Elite Junior Academy" was flawless, clinching a 4-0 victory to finish fifth.

The thrilling CAF U-17 GIFT tournament concludes on Saturday, 18 January, with an all-Tanzania final between "TDS Girls" and "JKT Queens" at 19:00 Local Time (16:00 GMT).
