FIFA has unveiled the nominees for the prestigious Puskas Award, which is awarded for the most impressive goal of the year. The award ceremony will take place in mid-January.

This season, the list of candidates includes 11 footballers, notably from leagues not among the world's leading championships: "Hassan Al-Haidos", "Terry Antonis", "Yassine Benzia", "Walter Bou", "Michael Chirinos", "Federico Dimarco", "Alejandro Garnacho", "Mohamed Kudus", "Denis Omedi", "Paul Onuachu" and "Jayden Whittaker-Philojean".

Fans can visit the FIFA website to vote for their top three candidates until January 10, 2025.

Among the goals from top leagues that made it to the shortlist are strikes by "Federico Dimarco", "Alejandro Garnacho", and "Mohamed Kudus". Other goals can be viewed on social network X on the FIFA World Cup account.
