Slots for the eagerly awaited finals of the CAF African Schools Championship are gradually filling up as the continent’s largest youth event approaches its climactic stage in 2025.

Following the success of "South Africa" in both boys’ and girls’ divisions in the COSAFA zone, the WAFU B zone has concluded its qualifiers in Niamey, Niger, with "Cote d’Ivoire" claiming victory in the boys' division and "Ghana" representing the girls.

After two stellar seasons, the championship is once more in full swing, with thousands of young athletes under 15 striving to earn a place in the finals across the six CAF zones. This youth highlight on the global stage draws unparalleled numbers, as over 800,000 African boys and girls participate in this iteration.

Consistently, CAF, alongside zone unions, organized capacity building programs for coaches, referees, young reporters, and medics concurrent with the tournament.
