Looking for answers to questions about who the "Super Eagles" will face next and when the match will take place? Look no further, we will provide all the details here, including the date and time of Nigeria's next match.

"Nigeria" participated in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, reaching the final but losing to "Ivory Coast". With the Nations Cup concluded, the "Super Eagles" played a few friendly matches before focusing on qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.

It's important to note that the "Super Eagles" didn't have the best start to the qualification campaign, drawing their first two matches despite being the favorites. By June, the team returned to action eager to rectify their earlier failures. The permanent appointment of Finidi George aimed to build on the successes of former coach Jose Peseiro, who led "Nigeria" to a runner-up finish in the Africa Cup.

However, George couldn't meet expectations, resulting in a series of winless matches, ending in a 1-1 draw with "South Africa" in Uyo and a 2-1 loss to "Benin". Following George's resignation, German coach Bruno Labbadia was appointed, with Austin Eguavoen stepping in as interim coach, eventually leading "Nigeria" to qualify for the next tournament as group leaders with 11 points.

They started with a commanding 3-0 win over "Benin", a goalless draw with "Rwanda", and a 1-0 victory over "Libya". The final game against "Benin" ended in a draw, while they suffered a home defeat to "Rwanda" in Uyo.

With the Africa Cup of Nations concluded, the "Super Eagles" are focused on World Cup 2026 qualification. "Nigeria" currently sits fifth in their group of six, preparing to face "Rwanda" in March 2025 in Kigali, before hosting "Zimbabwe" in Uyo.

"Nigeria" has been placed in Group C alongside "South Africa", "Rwanda", "Lesotho", "Zimbabwe", and "Benin". Their campaign kicked off with draws against "Lesotho" and "Zimbabwe" and they continue with several key matches.
