The AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal

The AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal has rejected the complaints from "Karvan" club and maintained the sanctions.

The decisions of the AFFA Appeals Arbitration Tribunal have been announced. It is reported that the complaints from "Karvan" club of the First League were not upheld.

The decision states the following:

1. The appeal from the "Karvan" club shall not be entertained.

2. Following the conclusion of the match "Karvan" – "Qəbələ" in the eighth round of the First League on November 27, 2024, "Karvan's" player with number 7, Bahruz Teymurov, was suspended for four games due to insulting referees. The "Karvan" club is fined 300 manats according to Article 43.3 of the AFFA Disciplinary Code for the 2024/2025 season. The decision of the AFFA Disciplinary Committee dated December 3, 2024, remains unchanged.

3. The interested parties should be informed about the possibility of filing an appeal against the decision of the Appeals Arbitration Tribunal in the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, Switzerland.

4. The full text of the decision will be prepared and sent to the parties within 30 days.
