The electoral committee of the Kazakhstan Federation has removed Nargiz Magau from the list of candidates for the president of KFF. She voluntarily decided to withdraw from the race. Now, five individuals are competing.
Among them are Altai Daumov from "Football Association of the Almaty Region"; Yerlan Djamattaev from "Association "Republican League of Private Football Schools and Academies"; Yerbol Kairov from "Akmola Regional Association"; David Loria from "Karaganda Regional Association" and Marat Omarov from "Association "Federation of the City of Astana".
It is important to note that the Extraordinary 27th Election Conference of KFF will take place on December 20, 2024, in Astana. The president of KFF, Adlet Barmenkulov, announced his resignation in early November. Recently, Sayaan Khamitjanov was elected as the new Secretary-General, having previously held a leadership position in the organization.
