Valeriy Gladilin: Marko Nikolic must address issues in CSKA's lineup

Former 'Spartak' coach Valeriy Gladilin

Former 'Spartak' coach Valeriy Gladilin commented on Marko Nikolic's difficulties in establishing the core lineup of 'CSKA'.

Ex-'Spartak' coach Valeriy Gladilin shared his opinion that 'CSKA' head coach Marko Nikolic is having trouble deciding on the key players of the team.

Recently, in the 16th round of the MIR RPL, the 'Armeitsy' were defeated by 'Rostov' with a score of 1:2. However, on Tuesday, Nikolic's team managed to outplay 'Rubin' in the quarterfinals of the RPL FONBET Cup of Russia with a 3:0 victory.

— Currently, 'CSKA' doesn't have a stable lineup. Over the offseason, the team lost several key players who, for instance, played a crucial role in the attack — two central forwards. Establishing an effective attack play is the most difficult task. Nikolic is trying, but it hasn't worked yet; some time is needed, — Gladilin stated.

In the next Russian championship match, 'CSKA' will host Kazan's 'Rubin' on November 30. Live broadcasts of the MIR RPL and FONBET Cup of Russia matches can be watched on 'Match TV' and 'MATCH PREMIER' channels, as well as on matchtv.ru and sportbox.ru websites.
