Artem Avanesyan discussed why he left "CSKA" and shared his thoughts on his career.

The player from the Armenian team "Noah", Artem Avanesyan, shared the reasons behind his departure from the main squad of "CSKA", the well-known Moscow club.

Avanesyan, trained within the "CSKA" system, parted with the club in 2017. He mentions that in their 1999 cohort, talents like Alan Tsaraev and Nikita Matskharashvili stood out, but the brightest was Nair Tiknizyan. It was the two of them who were first brought up to the reserve team, yet Artem spent only a year at "CSKA". Why? He admits that he didn't give the game the attention it deserved, a realization that came too late.

"Youthful maximalism, parties, stardom — I couldn't avoid any of that. But if I could turn back time, I would change my approach to work at 18," he confesses. He claims that he has always been hardworking and goal-oriented, working both individually and with the team, but acknowledges that more effort was needed without any distractions.

Now, Artem doesn't regret the past but understands he could have acted differently.
