Saudi Arabia emerges as the sole candidate to host the 2034 World Cup, surpassing Australia and Indonesia.

The final match of the 2034 World Cup will be hosted in Riyadh at the King Salman Stadium, as stated in a report by the International Football Federation. Saudi Arabia has become the only nation vying to host the global competition in 2034.

Previously, it was anticipated that Australia and Indonesia would submit a joint bid to host the tournament, but later Indonesia chose to withdraw and backed Saudi Arabia's bid. Subsequently, Australia also withdrew their interest in hosting the 2034 World Cup.

According to the report, only King Salman Stadium is proposed for hosting the opening and final matches. In total, 15 venues in five cities are contending to host the tournament's games.
