The budget for the construction of a new stadium named after Kazhymukan Munaitpasov, located on the right bank of Nur-Sultan, has been revealed. The facility will be built on the site of the old sports complex located at Kenesary Street, 14, Saryarka district. The building area will exceed 15,000 square meters.
The project, initiated by Nur-Sultan's city construction department, envisions the establishment of a new sports facility at Kenesary Street, 14. The overall budget is set at T15,228,082,539.89, as stated in the tender documents on the government procurement website.
On September 24, the Ministry of Industry and Construction reported that the design documentation received a favorable conclusion from RGP "Gosexpertiza." The bidding process started on October 22 and finished on November 6, with TОО BiGlobal winning the tender. Construction is expected to be completed in 16 months, with a seating capacity of 3,600 people. In February, it was decided to dismantle the old stadium after technical inspection revealed the tribunes were in a critical state.
