Uzbek striker Igor Sergeev is negotiating a move to 'Pakhtakor'. The transfer is possible after terminating the contract with 'Pathum' in Thailand.

The forward of Uzbekistan's national team, Igor Sergeev, who previously played in the Kazakhstan championship, might consider a return to the capital club 'Pakhtakor'.

According to insider information, after parting ways with Dragan Ceran, 'Pakhtakor' started actively searching for a new forward and has already initiated discussions with Igor Sergeev. Sergeev's current contract with 'Pathum' is still ongoing for another year, but it is expected that the Thai club could terminate the agreement early.

It is noteworthy that Sergeev previously played for three seasons in Kazakhstan for the teams 'Aktobe' and 'Tobol'. In the local league, he played 63 matches, scoring 24 goals and providing 5 assists.

Sergeev also holds 73 caps for Uzbekistan's national team, where he demonstrated his skills by scoring 20 goals.
