Yuriy Maksimov leads "Vorskla" to victories: the club rises in ranking, leaving the danger zone.
Yuriy Maksimov has been recognized as the best coach of the 14th round of UPL by the All-Ukrainian Coaches' Union.
On Saturday, his "Vorskla" secured a home win against "LNZ" (2:0), earning 16 points and climbing to the 11th position, moving away from the danger zone threatening with relegation and playoff matches.
Maksimov officially returned to the role of the head coach of the Poltava team in October, which he previously headed from 2019 to 2022. Since then, the team's performance has started to improve. This victory is the second in a row for "Vorskla"; next is a game with "Inhulets", which promises to further augment the club's point tally.
